If you are able, a contribution toward final shipping to Global Knit would be appreciated.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sock Guidelines specific to this Global Knit campaign:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use any type of wool yarn (no acrylic). Wool is warm \u00e2\u20ac\u201c even when wet. We like wool. (At least 70% wool \/ animal fiber)<\/li>\n<li>Weight of wool: worsted or chunky. The vast majority of clothing will be washed by hand and dried on clothes lines.<\/li>\n<li>If using worsted, you can use a single strand or double \u00e2\u20ac\u201c your choice.<\/li>\n<li>Size: for a 6-year old through adult sizes. We want to make sure teenagers have socks that fit, too! For this, make sure the length of the foot is at least 6\u00e2\u20ac\u009d from the heel to the foot.<\/li>\n<li>Please knit the leg so it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s at least 4\u00e2\u20ac\u009d-6\u00e2\u20ac\u009d above the ankle. We won\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t turn anything away, but we ask that it cover a good portion of the leg.<\/li>\n<li>Match your socks and tie them together with a bow at the top so it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s obvious they\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re a pair.<\/li>\n<li>Color and style \u00e2\u20ac\u201c your choice.
