The <em>New York Times <\/em>reports that already this winter <a title=\"NYT article about Kabul camps\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2012\/12\/30\/world\/asia\/deadly-bite-of-winter-returns-to-ill-prepared-refugee-camps-of-kabul.html?hp&amp;_r=0\" target=\"_blank\">a child in a Kabul refugee camp has died from the cold<\/a>. In anticipation of the harsh winter in Kabul, Wool-Aid built an inventory of warm woolen clothing and blankets, and in October, we shipped an additional 1310 items to the Lamia Afghan Foundation: 579 pounds of aid, much of it in infant and toddler sizes.
