{"id":336,"date":"2012-04-14T00:10:48","date_gmt":"2012-04-14T06:10:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wool-aid.org\/news\/?p=336"},"modified":"2014-02-20T23:53:32","modified_gmt":"2014-02-21T05:53:32","slug":"report-on-shipments-to-tibet-2012","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.wool-aid.org\/news\/?p=336","title":{"rendered":"Report on Shipments to Tibet (2012)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Wool-Aid has sent more warm, woolen clothing to Tibet for children who are living in desperate conditions as a result of the earthquake that struck there exactly two years ago &#8212; April 14, 2010.<\/p>\n<p>We have recently received an updated report of current conditions  there. It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s good to have news from Tibet, but it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s heartbreaking that  many things have not changed in the two years since the earthquake  struck Kyegu:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>It is exactly two years since the earthquake devastated Kyegu town and Kyegu monastery.<\/p>\n<p>Now, the living conditions are much the same as after the earthquake.  The Tibetan people are still living in tents. The children are now attending day school \u00e2\u20ac\u201c there are four tent  schools in the area. The orphaned children are being educated too. The  boys live at the monastery and are taught by the monks, and the girls  live at the nunnery and are taught by the nuns.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a
